At BG Brisbane we work closely with our growers and retailers to develop optimal support programs, grading, packaging and logistic solutions. Team members visit production areas throughout the year to keep in touch with our Growers working with them to ensure just the right fruit and vegetables for our clients. We believe it is important to talk to our growers about what they are planting to ensure that we can better supply the market needs. These trips also help the BG Brisbane team to better understand the apporaching season and quality of produce expected.
We offer a number of valuable services to our grower base through our superior payments terms, providing growers a choice of how they receive their returns; posted, faxed or emailed. We also have the ability to electronically transfer payments (EFT) to their financial institutions which removes postage and cheque clearance delays.

The relationships we build with our independent retailers, corner store operators and chain-store clients is paramount, our focus is delivering them exactly what they need.
BG Brisbane director Anthony Gribben said the wholesaler/retailer relationships had developed as a result of the consumers being supplied with the products they like, the way they like them. At BG Brisbane we are committed to communication, service, consistent quality and prompt delivery to our independent retailers within the markets, with at least 6 forklifts available to ensure timely despatch.
BG Brisbane is proud to be the first Brisbane Market wholesaler to invest in a completely refrigerated selling floor. The 2 bay selling floor in C Block has a 350 pallet multizone refrigerated capacity, with a further 250 pallet multizone refrigerated warehouse in V Block with capacity to fast cool prior to transit. BG Brisbane is a fully quality assured company, with a complete quality management plan and full HACCP certification. Also we are currently implementing SQF2000 which should be in place by October 2007.
