SCALES WEIGHING PROCEDURE


Step 1

Calibrate Scales with test weight.
Record on Scale Form

Step 2

Weigh Packaging
(eg. Crate & liner 0.84kg)

Step 3

TARE Out. Scales should now read
0.00kg with packaging

TARE Out should be performed regularly during packout process, as a minimum every 15 minutes.

Step 4

Fill packaging with product so it exceeds
NET weight Requirements to allow for weight loss.
Complete all necessary paperwork
e.g. COLES & ALDI
