RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

Congratulations on becoming a member of the BG Brisbane Team.  We would like to take this opportunity to advise all staff of the Rules of Engagement in relation to your employment.   These rules may be found within our Company Policies but are a standard set of rules that must be adhered to at all times.

1. Arrive to your shift on time

2. Sign in and out everyday

3. Absences are to be reported as soon as possible and preferably no less than 6 hours before your shift is due to commence.  Medical certificates are to be produced as required.

4. Personal belongings should be stored in the staff room or lockers that are provided – Not in Produce handling areas.

5. Smoking only in designated areas – NOT ON THE BACK DOCK OR IN THE CENTRAL TRADING AREA

6. Wash or sanitise your hands after meals, toilet and smoke breaks.

7. No eating over produce, on back dock, coldrooms or other produce handling areas (Use staff room provided)

8. Come to work clean and with a tidy appearance.  Use deodorant, brush your hair and teeth.

9. Always wear a safety vest or compliant hi-vis clothing.

10. Always wear closed in shoes.

11. Report any accidents, incidents or near misses immediately.

12. Report any suspect produce or behaviour immediately.

13. Immediately report any issues with equipment.

14. Treat others with respect, harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and offensive language is not to be used at any time.

15. Personal mobile phones and headphones (earbuds, pods etc) are not to be used whilst working.

16. Work safely.

17. Do not come to work if you are sick or under the influence of drugs &/or alcohol.
