Knives with snappable blades are strictly prohibited from use by any staff member involved in the packing of produce

Reasons why snappable bladed knifes should not be used in the packing warehouse;

Blades can snap and accidently lodge / drop into food / packaging causing a foreign matter contamination

There is an increased risk of personal injury if a blade slips whilst cutting open a box or removing tape from pallets
